Who are we?

Kernel Counselling and Psychotherapy is the welcoming central Brighton Practice of professional partners Jessica Leigh and Denise Cooper.

We are psychotherapeutically-trained Counsellor/Psychotherapists with a ‘Humanistic’ orientation, working from comfortable rooms just a short walk from Brighton Station.

Kernel works with individuals and small groups across a range of different issues including stress, anxiety, addiction, depression, loss and life changes, among others (see right).

We recognise it can be hard to make sense of all the Counselling and Psychotherapy options out there - and it’s really important to find the right person for you.

For this reason, we suggest you book a single starter session - with no obligation to come again.

This helps us decide whether we are a ‘good fit’ and provides the chance to discuss what you’d like to get from the counselling experience.
